Exhibition: Happy Accidents: The Art of Joe Suzuki
Artist: Joe Suzuki
Where: Reem Gallery

Fresh paint spilled over aluminum cubes, skulls, paper bags, and other familiar sculptural objects, create the illusion of ruining a pristine art piece in an unfortunate turn of events. Happy Accidents exhibition of works by Japanese American artist Joe Suzuki hosted by the Reem Gallery was available for online viewing worldwide between July 10 and July 31, 2020.
Apart from his Happy Accidents series, Joe Suzuki is known for a multitude of exciting sculptures that showcase the artist’s talent and cultural diversity. His Trompeli’oeil series combined optical illusions and origami, the traditional Japanese art of paper folding, to produce a series of attention-grabbing 3D works. The Daruma Doll series, on the other hand, reimagined traditional Japanese face masks by embellishing them with contemporary designs.
Since Joe Suzuki began to work with Reem gallery in 2017, his works have found their way to numerous art collections. If you are interested in adding Joe Suzuki’s works to your collection, direct your inquiries and commission requests to the artist’s represented Reem gallery in Camberley, UK.
